After a long weekend in Sprint format, it’s time for the outcome of this Miami Grand Prix, with the highlight that is the race. The pilots will launch for just over 300 kilometers of competition and tension, at the end of which we will know the winner of the sixth race of this 2025 F1 season.
Max Verstappen signed the pole position, his third of the season, for 65 thousandths of a second ahead of Lando Norris. Andrea Kimi Antonelli, Poleman during the sprint, is on the second line at the start alongside Oscar Piastri, fourth of the qualifiers.
George Russell and Carlos Sainz share the third line, in front of the second Williams of Alex Albon, which is ahead of Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari. Esteban Ocon and Yuki Tsunoda are in fifth line on the grid. Isack Hadjar is 11th, just in front of the second Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton.
Gabriel Bortoleto signed a very good qualification with 13th position, which is the second best qualifier of Sauber this year. While he seems dedicated to losing his place at Alpine, Jack Doohan has signed a very solid 14th time.
Liam Lawson placed the second Racing Bulls in 15th position, in front of Nico Hülkenberg’s Sauber. Aston Martin experienced a catastrophic qualifying with a double elimination in Q1, and Fernando Alonso is 17th, while Lance Stroll is 19th. The duo supervises Pierre Gasly and is ahead of Oliver Bearman, last on the grid with his haas.
-The thunderstorms that struck the 305 (Miami postal code) yesterday are expected again this Sunday, and the race could be disturbed by the weather. What give an additional interest to an already difficult race in terms of tire management and in terms of the layout, which is rather technical.
