This is what awaits cycling enthusiasts, this Sunday, May 11, with the Grand Prix of the City, once again entrusted to the good care of the team of volunteers from Daniel Tachen and Francis Le Saulnier, of the Sport Briochin Avenir Ginglinais (VSBAG). Who will receive the support, for security, of the municipal police, the Cyclo agreement, the Arvtt and their friends from Hillion and Saint-Brieuc.

women at 1:15 p.m.

They will have to monitor the intersections on the 3.6 km of a circuit starting from Avenue du Général-de-Gaulle to rue Lequier, then the streets of Verdun and the Valley. The first to start, since they are women, will be 17 and over, for 22 laps. Followed two minutes later, at 1:17 p.m., under the age of 15 and under 17, for ten and fourteen rounds. “When we started with the women, thirteen years ago, nobody believed in the world. Today, we manage to bring together a strong peloton of up to 90 runners, ”says Daniel Tachen.

Men at 3.30 p.m.

At 3:30 p.m., place to men, for the Daniel-Brosse challenge, 1-2-3 108 km Open race (30 laps). This will, for the first time, support the Brittany Cup of the Overstim clubs. s, fourth of the five rounds of competition.

This should guarantee a beautiful set, since 20 clubs are engaged in this cup, currently in mind the Pays de Briec team, CC Plancoëtin, Adris-La Crêpe de Brocéliande and Morlaix Cyclisme Performance.
