During the last seasonal concert of the Big Band of the’University of Montreal with Marcus Printup, on April 16, two students touched a scholarship of $ 1,500 for their exceptional talent in interpretation and jazz composition, whose composition price going to Olivier Grenier-Bédard de Rivière-Rouge (Master in Music, Option Interpretation and Jazz Composition), for his play Emma.
He was a winner of the 9th edition of the Dr Stephen and Susan Fichman prizes in jazz. Putting’Before the succession student in jazz, these prices given annually salute in particular’interpretation and composition in jazz. A scholarship of $ 1,500 was given to each winner.
