-The Epernay-Plivot (Marne) aerodrome was the scene of an accident this Thursday, May 8, 2025, in the afternoon. Two people were injured in takeoff of a passenger plane.
According to our information, the device is a two-seater plane, a Jodel D18 who left Plessis-Belleville (Oise). Two men were on board. The plane started takeoff shortly before 5 p.m. to leave Plivot, but the device would have won its trajectory and, following a fall of fifteen meters, crashed, found on its back in a nearby field.
The Marne firefighters and the SMUR went there, just like the gendarmerie. The two occupants of the aircraft are in relative emergency, according to a first assessment.
The Plivot aerodrome, located between Épernay and Châlons-en-Champagne, has two grassy slopes. One 1,200 meters long is south-north oriented, the other 960 meters long is East-West oriented. The place welcomes the aeroclub of Sparnacian wings.
