Marseille-Toulouse, Paris-Montpellier … This Monday, May 5, the travelers had their eyes on their phone, some surprised by the strike which could disrupt the bridge of 8-May. In Languedoc-Roussillon, there are 35% strikers in the ranks of the controllers. Because it is first the regional trains, the RERs, the TERs and Transilians who are affected by the social movement.
In Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), some well-informed travelers have changed their plans so as not to be trapped. “We had to arrive this morning (…) and finally we shifted our trip and we arrived last night”explains a traveler. This Monday, disturbances but no mess, however, Gare du Nord in Paris. But what to expect for the rest of the week? The management of the SNCF aims to be reassuring for the bridge of 8-May, ensuring that we will be “far from a dark week”. But a trade unionist says on the contrary that nothing has yet been played.
