Modernize line A
The line acommissioned in 1978, includes 14 stations spread over 9,2 km and connects the Gare de Lyon-Perrache, to the southwest, and the Silk activity area in Vaulx-en-Velin, to the east. It is one of the busiest lines on the network, with almost 230,000 travelers per day.
The modernization of the line has the objectives of:
- Increase To cope with the expected increase in traffic by 2035-2040;
- Manage technical obsolescence by replacing aging equipment and systems;
- Improve the comfort and safety of travelersvia the implementation of new trains and the installation of landing doors on the quays.
Optimize line D
The line D, 1re Automatic line with a big template in the world when it was put into service in 1992, and currently most frequented network with 300,000 passengers per dayconnects the east and the west of the city through 15 stops on 12,6 kmfrom Vaise station to Vénissieux station.
The modernization project includes:
- The renewal of driving automatisms ;
- L’Adding 18 trains to the existing 36, allowing a significant reinforcement;
- The upgrade of the Quai-Voie protection system ;
- L’expansion of the deposit to be able to integrate more oars;
- The modernisation necessary equipment and systems.
EGIS missions
On these two projects, Egis will be mobilized for:
- Ensure the classic project management missions, control of performance, costs and deadlines of the operation throughout the project;
- Integrate a proactive eco -design approach, ecological transition and insertion ;
- Refine a Robust migration scenario To bring line A to its final automatic state and line D to its modernized automatic condition;
- Guarantee best possible operating conditions during work and tests new systems;
- Adapt existing infrastructure To accommodate new systems in the best safety and comfort conditions;
- Master system performance.
