From June 21 to 22, the seizures will organize their first bicycle festival in Beaufortain. On the program: A busy weekend to discover on the handlebars of your All-Mountain, Enduro or your DH. We explain the course to you:
Saturday June 21
On the program for the first day: supervised mountain bike hikes, randuro, freestyle shows and music festival!
At Randuro
The Randuro will allow you to discover the Enduro trails of the Beaufortain massif without timing. On the program: 5 specials for a total of 45 km and 500 m D+ / 4500 m D- (distances and elevation are being made). A bus service with trailers will be implemented as an option to go up between the low points of the trails (Albertville, Villard-sur-Doron, and Beaufort) and the seizures. Supply of local products (including the famous Beaufort cheese) are also on the program. This randuro is limited to 100 participants.
Practical info
- Randuro’s routes are physically and technically demanding, and are reserved for confirmed mountain bikers.
- In order to offer you a qualitative event, the Bike Festival will borrow mythical enduro courses from Beaufortain. These courses descend into the valley (Albertville, Villard-sur-Doron and Beaufort) and will make you go up with your mountain bikes between the specials. A shuttle service will be set up by the optional organization. The 3 rotations planned are Albertville> The seizures (45 min of road, x1 rotation) Villard-sur-Doron / Beaufort> The seizures (30 min of road, x2 rotations)
- 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Pumptrack show and athlete freestyle demonstrations.
- 6 p.m. – 23: Music Festival (DJ set).
The optional shuttle service is offered at € 40 and includes the 3 bus lifts and the 3 lifts of your mountain bike. The shuttles are not compulsory but it is impossible to return to mountain bike in times from the low point of the 3 specials. If you do not want to take this option, you need to provide a vehicle to go up.
The bike-park will also be opened during this day on Saturday.
Sunday June 22
The second day of the festival will be marked by the “VTT diamond” hike and its 4 courses, the “Tire Kids Tour” and the Bike-Park which will be open for the occasion.
The return of the mountain bike diamond
4 mountain bike routes will be аu chоіx: everyone has their distance, depending on their own!
- The Explo Rando VTT diamond with 15 km and 400 m D +/- (Grouped departure: 10 a.m.). The route begins on the heights of the seizures with a passage to the Col de la Lézette and includes 1 supplies (from 12 years old).
- The sports mountain bike diamond with 30 km and 1000 m D +/- (Grouped departure: 9:30 am). At the start of the seizures you will get the heights of the station before joining the Véry pass. There will be a return to Mont de Vores then the Col de la Lézette. 2 supplies are planned (from 15 years old).
- The expert mountain bike diamond which constitutes 45 km and 1700 m D +/- (Grouped departure: 9 a.m.). You will leave for the Véry pass with a return by Mont de Vores. You will then head on the side of Mont Lachat before concluding towards Bisanne. Good physical condition and technical level are necessary. 3 supplies are planned (from 18 years old).
- The E-Mando mountain bike diamond with 50 km and 2000 m D +/- (Grouped departure: 8:45 am). This route will resume the main lines of the expert course with specific variants. A good physical condition and a technical level are also necessary and 3 supplies are planned (from 18 years old).
Practical info
Mandatory equipment: mountain bike helmet, rainwear, water reserve, mobile phone.
A team of rescuers will be present on the route to ensure your safety and mechanical assistance will be set up (the workforce is offered but the parts changed will be your responsibility).
Throughout the weekend are planned Catering services and a discovery of Rossignol products.
Bike Park Open Ride
This free and fun event will allow each child to discover the Pumptrack and to challenge themselves in groups of 6 (from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.). No ranking or podiums, everyone will be rewarded with a medal, a snack and potential gifts.
Two age categories are offered: 2-3 years and 4-5 years. The number of places is limited to 100.
