What is Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe Rising?

In short, this is an opportunity to be supported by a professional team, develop your skills and possibly reach the highest level.

Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe Rising represents a new approach to the detection, test and development of young talents worldwide. It is a question of going from a traditional selection model to a funnel of more structured and data -oriented talent, which gives athletes around the world the possibility of showing their value.

Once the recruiters have evaluated your data, if they have estimated that you have some potential, you will be invited to the Red Bull Experience Week in August 2025 to the APC (Athlete Performance Center) in Red Bull in Austria, which will be supervised by Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe and their development team: Team Grenke – Auto EDER.

You will pass a series of tests and challenges alongside other young runners in order to assess your current level and your potential. There will be shocks and surprises, but overall, you will leave by knowing yourself better as anhlete and having the opportunity to join the Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe team, to obtain a development contract, or at least to be considered as a rising star of sport.

Option A: challenge of the Strava segment

• Find the nearest eligible Strava segment ici

• Put the gases, give everything you have

• Make sure your Strava profile is public so that recruiters can find your journey and your data.

Option B: Specialized Bike store challenge

• Go to a participating specialized store near you from the last section of this page.

• Keep your eye open and register for test days at your local store.

• You will have a niche to perform an indoor Ramp test.

Option C : Upload sur TrainingPeaks

Naturally, as it is a promising junior athlete research program, there is an age restriction for candidates. All young male athletes aged 15 to 19, all over the world, who dream of becoming professionals in the road bike are eligible for the challenge.

You don’t have to already be a passionate cyclist; If you are a solid athlete from another sport (with physical form, motivation and potential to succeed in cycling) we want to see what you have to offer. Ask Anton Palzer, a former ski-alinism champion, which is now a rising force within the peloton.

You will just need a working bike, a helmet and a device with access to a Strava or Trainingpeaks Premium account. All you have to do is take your bike, put your helmet, familiarize yourself with road safety and join a local cycling club if you are a new in the matter. When does Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe Rising take place?

The challenge started on April 29, 2025, and recruiters are starting to follow and assess athletes in real time that submit their application using the above methods on the basis of the data collected until June 30, 2025. The selected athletes will be informed in July 2025 of their participation in the Red Bull – Bora – Hansgrohe Rising Experience Week in August.
