“Half of the salary”
If he will not resume his role as Hawkeye (Eye-de-Faucon), it is notably because of the salary proposed by Marvel. In a recent interview for the High Performance application, Jeremy Renner explained that the industry has particularly treated it badly since its terrible accident.
“They offered to do season 2 and offered me half the salary”he explained, as reported Demotivateur. He says he has said: “I will need twice as much work for half of the money, and eight months of my time, essentially, to do it for half the money”.

Result ? He did not agree to resume his role. He also believes that such a drop in salary is insulting and does not really understand the reason. He wondered: “I’m only half of Jeremy because I was overturned? That may be why you want to pay me half what I won in the first season”.
He adds that it is not really a question of money, but especially in principle, since this drop in salary is unjustified. “I have to defend myself”he continues. “I did not ask for more money. I just wanted to be paid like the first season. It is really disappointing that it was not successful, but it does not matter. I am happy to drop, because my body surely thanks me for not doing it right now.”
