This year, the Princess Heiress Victoria participates in the celebrations in the navy uniform

Princess heiress Victoria, who recently obtained the rank of a navy brand, participated in the celebration in the navy uniform, next to her father, like her brother, Prince Carl Philip, while the other members of the royal family attended the parade from the balcony. King Carl XVI Gustaf and his eldest daughter then joined the other family members on the balcony once the parade ended in the courtyard.

This appearance on the balcony made it possible to find grandchildren from King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia who had not appeared for a long time. Princess Madeleine and her husband, Christopher O’Neill, returned to live in Sweden in the previous school year and their three children, with whom they have lived in Miami since 2018, are therefore not used to appearing on the balcony. Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne were alongside their cousins, Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar, the two children of Victoria.

Prince Carl Philip also wore his navy uniform and appeared on the balcony with his wife, Princess Sofia. This is Princess Sofia’s first participation in an official event since the childbirth of Princess Ines on February 7. To everyone’s surprise, Ines also made his first appearance, alongside his brothers, Prince Alexander and Prince Gabriel. Only Prince Julian, the youngest of the three brothers, was absent because he fell ill.
