Andrew Scheer will replace Pierre Hairy as acting parliamentary chief from the official opposition and give the reply to Mark Carney while waiting for the conservative chief to find a seat in the House of Commons.

Mr. Poilievre lost his headquarters to the municipalities during the election to represent the district of Carleton week. He will have to wait for the triggering of a by -election in an Albertaian district to try to make his return. Without siege, he cannot hold the post of opposition chief in Parliament.

Mr. Poilievre met the Caucus on Tuesday of his political training to determine “how to improve” their performance in the medium term, but, in the shorter term, the official opposition had to choose an elected official to ensure temporary leadership.

By -elections

The deputy elected Damien Kurek announced that he would from his siege in the rural district of Battle River-Crowfootin Alberta, to allow Mr. Hairy to present himself to a by -election and to obtain a seat in the House of Commons.

An unstoppable movement has developed under the direction of [Poilievre]and I know that we need Pierre to fight in the House of Commons to request accounts from the Liberal minority government.

The ballot could take place at the earliest 47 days after the official resignation of Mr. Kurek, but the latter can only withdraw after taking oath as a deputy.

Never mind, the conservative chief, who described Kurek’s decision toaltruistichas already made a trip on Monday, in the Albertaian district which he hopes to represent.

The government has 180 days to convene a by -election, but Prime Minister Mark Carney said last week that he would quickly.

Parliamentary must resume on May 26.

Pierre Hairyvre could therefore be back at the head of the opposition and face Prime Minister Carney during the fall session.
