A woman who had just asked her husband’s divorce to have been attacked by him, very early Monday morning, in the Chomedey district, in Laval.
The 50 -year -old woman introduced herself to hospital around 4:20 am to treat injuries that would not fortunately put her life in danger.
The event would have occurred in a residence located near the intersection of the boulevard Curé-Labelle and the 74th avenue.
According to our information, the victim would have informed his spouse whom she wanted to divorce. The 59 -year -old man would have reacted very badly and would have attacked his wife violently.
In particular, he would have tried to strangle him and would also have put a knife under his throat. The blade of the knife would however have broken during the grip.
-However, this information was not confirmed by the Laval police.
A call to 911 was made overnight to report the event. The victim’s husband was reportedly arrested in the hospital’s waiting room.
He was transported to the police station to be questioned by the investigators during the day on Monday.
Two crime scenes were established by the police: the first at the Cité-de-la-Santé hospital and the second at the couple’s home.
