A Montreal family was afraid of his life after shots fired on his residence in the Verdun borough on Sunday evening.
The Montreal City Police Service was alerted by 911 calls around 10:10 p.m. for shots fired on a residence on rue de la Sagittarius, near rue de la Vigne.
The police dispatched to the scene locate impacts of firearm projectile on the front window of the building, but no victim has manifested itself.
Fortunately, the occupants of the residence, including children, were not injured, said SPVM spokesperson Caroline Chèvrefils.

According to initial information, the suspects fired in the direction of the residence and fled on foot before the arrival of the police.
Investigators and technicians in judicial identity are expected on site to analyze the scene and the canine unit was requested to help in the search for evidence.
Witnesses have been met by the police, said the SPVM, which added that no arrest has been done for the moment, while the investigation is still continuing.
