The Tunnels Ville-Marie and Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine will be completely closed for a large part of the weekend, due to major work.

This was indicated Thursday Mobility Montreal, the responsible committee to coordinate major work in the metropolitan region.
The Tunnel Ville-Marie will be completely closed from Friday 11:59 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m., between exit 5 and access to rue du Fort. Mobility Montreal invites motorists to avoid the sector, due to significant risk of congestion.
The Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel in northern direction will be completely closed from Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m., to allow in particular the marking of the Chaussée.
In southern direction, the tunnel will be closed between Montreal and Route 132 in Longueuil from Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m.
These closures are dependent on favorable weather conditions, said Montreal Mobility, warning that the closure of Highway 25 towards the South Shore, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, could be postponed overnight on Sunday to Monday.
-In Outaouais and Center-du-Québec, on the Laviolette bridge, two out of four lanes will be entrenched between Trois-Rivières and Bécancour from Friday evening to Monday morning, one way by direction.
In Montreal, in the Saint-Laurent district, on Route 117 in southern direction, one in three tracks will be closed under the CN railway viaduct, from Friday 2 p.m. to Monday 5 a.m.
In Ville-Marie, one in two tracks from Papineau avenue in southern direction will be partially closed, between rue Sainte-Catherine and Boulevard René-Lévesque, from May 12 to 23.
In Beauharnois, on highway 30 in the Madeleine-Parent bridge sector, partial closures are scheduled between Friday 8 p.m. and Monday 6 a.m., but at least one way per direction will remain open at all times.
In Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, on the East A-530, exit 5 will be completely closed from Friday 8 p.m. to Saturday 1 a.m., and from Sunday 6 a.m. to Monday 6 a.m.
The REM network will be closed completely every Saturday and Sunday in May, due to a new commissioning phase.
On the Bonaventure highway, Montreal Mobility recalls that a three -way track will be closed in each direction until December, at the Peel basin and the Victoria bridge. On the Clément deck, one way by management will be free for traffic in the wrong way until December. East direction, exit 5 towards the island of the sisters will also be closed until mid-May.
