You just have to decide what adventure you want to get started first. We opt for the earth and the gravel, and we engage on unstabilized trails. Because we are curious to know if all of this is only showing off or if the Cross Turismo really deserves its name and its adventurous appearance.
Get out of the fog
But that morning, time is not yet frankly in the game. The day only rises slowly. A thick layer of cottony fog hides the sun to us. In this case, freedom is to succeed in getting out of this mist of mist. In Grengiols, in the “half -istric of Oriental Rarogne”, a path leads upwards. In fact, it is rather an earth track, and therefore an ideal test field to switch to “all-terrain special” mode. The Taycan inflates its pneumatic springs, pointing out that it is ready for the adventure. The chemin de la Montée is strewn with Pierraille. The runoff has clearly eroded the path over the years, which of course does not prevent a real adventurer from continuing his way.
But at first, the fog thickened. The Taycan Shadegreen Metallic is brilliantly fraying a path in the cold greyness, and more than 2000 meters above sea level, the fog finally dissipates.
Full of the sun
On the narrow path at the foot of the Breithorn, the Turismo cross immediately feels at home. Including when we take a well -deserved break. The picnic travels safely in the foldable trunk tray, the cooler keeps food in the fridge and despite the freshness of the breeze, the coffee remains hot in the isotherm cup matching the car. Ideal conditions to fill up on the sun. The only downside: the four highest Swiss peaks are not visible from our rest area. So we resume our exploration.

Climbing this track cost us energy. But by going back down to the valley, recovery reinjects part in the battery. Which also means more freedom in the form of autonomy. A good hour later, we reach Täschalp, an isolated pasture, sheltered from bustle and traffic. Once the clouds and the fog dissipated, the view of the Weisshorn is magical.
Weisshorn is often considered the most beautiful mountain in the Alps. Its top with three stars dispersed in star looks like an almost perfect pyramid. He was climbed for the first time in 1861 by the Irishman John Tyndall, accompanied by two experienced mountain guides. Today, the ascent of more than 3000 meters by the southwest of the Schaligrat can be done in five to six hours. By the west face, it takes between ten and 3 p.m. Certainly, some huts and bivouacs dot the route. But the absence of ski lifts and the difficulty and length of the ascent routes mean that the Weisshorn passes for one of the mountains most difficult to climb alpine space. It seems that the view from the summit is all the more breathtaking and provides a feeling of total freedom.

Today, we stay on the floor of cows, and savor the luxury of being able to choose between different options. A supper on Täschalp? A game of kite on Lake Thoune? Or why not a black forest trip?
