The Dien VI Book fair is an event to create a playground for the units of old books. Since December 2024, until today, the program (with 4 main activities: reading club, consignment, exchange of books and workshops) has gone through 5 organizational periods, helping to increase love, while sharing means of protecting and preserving books … for many young people.

The Consignment Program is notably an opportunity for young people to find a “outlet” for the books they have read. Ms. Y NHI, representative of the organizing committee, said: “Some of you have a lot of books, but do not know how to manage them. To keep them clutter the house, and give them would be a shame. You can then place them at the counter; The sale of the sale will be donated to you so that you can buy new ones and acquire new knowledge. »»

In addition to Depost-Setting activities, the book exchange program also receives the attention of the organizers. Young people who come to the Dien VI book fair can return the books they have read and receive a similar number of books in return, according to the motto “Old for you, new for me”.

In this perspective, the Dien VI book festival aims to build community libraries, build libraries, create reading clubs and sharing workshops. However, this trip also encounters many difficulties when the number of new books benefiting from reduction programs increases. Meanwhile, the source of pouring books at the Dien VI book fair is still limited, which makes it difficult to attract “elderly people”. “But if we do not maintain this initiative, it will not guarantee continuity and young people will think about it anymore. Even if the number of people coming to buy books is low, many other activities are offered to them. The number of visitors is nevertheless up to their expectations, “said the representative of the organizing committee.
