The Acadian superhero Captain Acadie conquered visitors to the Quebec International Book Fair and the Quebec BD Festival, attracting an enthusiastic crowd and aroused a keen craze around the universe imagined by one of its creators, Dany Bouffard.
The day started with a presentation of the universe of Captain Acadie, in a prelude to the immersive exhibition which will Take place at the Place des Canotiers Throughout the summer. The author knew how to captivate the audience by revealing the richness of his character, who combines adventure, history, culture and French -speaking pride.
A signing session then allowed admirers, young and old, to leave with a copy signed by the adventures of the superhero, creating privileged moments between the author and his readers.

An immersive exhibition and a comic strip to discover in June
The immersive exhibition Captain Acadiewhich will open its doors in June at Place des Canotiers, will extend the experience offered during the show and the festival. She promises to support visitors a summer rich in discoveries, pride and inspiration.
Thanks to augmented reality, visitors will explore new dimensions of this comic strip exciting of 36 pages, to be published this summer. In this new adventure, entitled “Take for Bec in Quebec”, Captain Acadie joined forces in the fricot, a secret organization, to save his partner and thwart a galactic plot led by Utrek, an extraterrestrial lord determined to activate an artifact with devastating powers. Together, the hero’s family and his allies face traps, revelations and an epic final fight. But already, a new threat hovers on the horizon …
