Studio M, the new school specializing in image and sound professions

The offer of training in the South of Ile -de -France extends. Studio M, recognized school for its course dedicated to image professions and sound opened a new campus at the Cartonnerie de Dammarie-lès-Lys (Seine-et-Marne) in October 2024. It wishes to continue its development and diversify its offers.

Studio M is one of the 23 brands of the Eduservices group, a specialist in private higher education in apprenticeship, present in 44 cities. This school has established itself as a major player in training in artistic and audiovisual professions.

Recognized diplomas

At the cardboard, its training offer includes bac + 2 with BTS Audiovisual which can integrate different options, but also bac + 3 leading to two diplomas Bachelor. One is entitled “Editing director” and the other “Sound Designer”. The school also issues RNCP titles, registered in the National Directory of Professional Certification, which recognizes the official nature of diplomas.

At the start of the school year in September 2025, students will be able to take advantage of the opening of Mercier studiowith new training courses turned towards digital creation: infographic, creation of video gamesthe creation of films d’animation 3D and 3D engineering.

Matthieu Ferrando, training counselor, abounds with ideas for his students. Himself a director-and an actor on occasion-he held different positions in his career. “Most trainers are image and sound professionals still active, that makes all the difference, because everyone can transmit their experience,” he underlines.

Work is planned to further improve the working conditions and the proper functioning of the training of future students. Thus, next fall, will be delivered new premises Thanks to the recovery of a shooting studio and a computer room.

Partnerships

Matthieu Ferrando also relaunches a short film festival. Called »7^e art of lily ”between 2007 and 2013, he resumed this year under the name of Cinélysin partnership with Pathé cinema. Open to everyone, this festival which will take place on May 24 will participate all the Studio M de France schools and have already received 152 participating films. Selections committees should start shortly.

But the teaching team does not stop there. Reconciliations with the Brie brotherhood or the Affolic Festival, which will take place in September 2025, are also underway to allow students to learn about reports. “A real emulation is created around this school which has not chosen this new campus for nothing, because it can attract students from Seine-et-Marne, Essonne but also northern Loiret and Yonne,” finishes Matthieu Ferrando. A strategic establishment at the gates of Paris which meets the growing needs of the image sector and which will energize the local economic fabric.
