Image hunter, Axel Dieulesaint captures moments of life in the countryside from Plouguenast-Langast (Côtes-d’Armor).

He photographs deer, foxes, wild boars

At 19 years old, this amateur photographer explores life in the countryside, capturing every moment.

A fauna that he is used to encountering when he hunts, since he is also a young hunter in Plouguenast, like the rest of the well-known Dieulesaint family.

First cellphone photos, in full confinement

It is also thanks to his sense of observation acquired while hunting that he became an image hunter.

At the time of confinement, 14 anshe walks in circles at home. “I went out for an evening walk in the countryside, to see the animals. The first photos were on a cell phone, it wasn’t great,” he remembers.

However, I managed to take a few photos of deer calls with the phone. Even if the quality is not there, I am proud to have them, they are beautiful animals.

The harvest, the night

Axel Dieulesaint decides to equip himself properly to perfect his shots. He beats the countryside, after his classes and work, he is in BTS landscaping at the Merdrignac Campus, in apprenticeship at Art et Concept Paysagers in Loudéac.

He also juggles with the vagaries of weather reportvery numerous in recent months… “I’m starting a little harvestfollowing my brother», he learns.

In action with football

In addition to wildlife photography, the young man takes photos of foot . The former player FC Linkedgoes to the field on weekends, often at his former club, to immortalize the actions of the game. “At the beginning, I took my photos in bursts. I had a lot to sort through,” he smiles.

With practice and new equipment to improve the speed of shooting, “I just need to trigger at just the right moment, after following the players. »

In 2025 Axel Dieulesaint will start his project around the local teams, going to see one every weekend “until the end of the season, until the departmental finals. »

The return of the slab

The master photographer, for the moment, is also requested for weddingsor birthdays! Another style exercise.

Axel Dieulesaint will take back his camera and once again survey the countryside. “ The slab will beginit is from mid-September to mid-October. I hope that I will not be bothered by the behavior of people, which scares away the animals…”
