70 street artists transform the cabins of the Molitor swimming pool

When street art goes outside the walls, it is often synonymous with success. And in September, head to the Molitor swimming pool, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. For the second time, street artists will literally transform the Molitor bathing cabins into new works of art. We can’t wait to see the result. Can’t you?

The 78 cabins of the Molitor winter pool are beginning new metamorphoses

For once, street art exhibitions are all the rage! In the capital, urban art lovers are particularly delighted by the arrival of a new free street art exhibition that will be unveiled very soon, in the basement of the Église de la Madeleine. But another major event should satisfy your thirst for street art: the Molitor artists’ cabins, 2nd edition…

Since 2018, the public has had the opportunity to discover the cabins of the indoor pool of the famous Molitor swimming pool. A few years ago, these cabins were literally transformed by urban artists, using spray cans. Yes, from a bathing cabin to a work of art, there is only one step.

A new captivating street art exhibition to discover in Paris…

And imagine that in September, the Molitor cabins will begin new metamorphoses. After remaining as they were for 6 years, the cabins of the winter pool will be completely redecorated in colors by 70 street artists. For this 2nd edition, the curation aims to be international. It will thus give pride of place to urban art around the world. But how to discover the cabins of the Molitor swimming pool thus adorned with graffiti, stencils and new urban frescoes of all kinds?
