The Drawing Fair 2025: A World Reference and an Epicenter of Graphic Arts

The 33rd edition of Drawing fair will be held from March 26 to 31, 2025 au Palais Brongniart in . Considered a true reference in the world of graphic arts, this event brings together the most prestigious works of ancient, modern and contemporary and every year becomes theepicenter of Drawing Weeka unifying event that transforms Paris into the world capital of drawing for a week.

A Selection of Renowned Galleries and International Exhibitors

The Fair will welcome 39 exhibitors, the majority of which are international galleries, with new additions such as the London gallery Stern Pissarro, the Michael Werner gallery, and the Galleria d’Arte Maggiore, among others. French galleries such as Larock-Granoff and the Galerie des Modernes will also make a comeback after several years of absence. This renewal demonstrates the growing importance of the Salon on the international art scene.

The Museum of Fine Arts in the spotlight

This year, the Reims Museum of Fine Arts, currently under rehabilitation, is the guest of honor at the Salon. This museum, rich in exceptional graphic collections, will present a selection of 46 major drawings, including works by Lucas Cranach the Younger, Simon Vouet, and Jean-François Millet, and will allow the public to admire treasures from the art cabinet city ​​graphics.

The Tavolozza Foundation: A Journey Through Creation

The other guest of honor, the Tavolozza Foundation, offers a fascinating insight into the creative process through a selection of works from its collection, founded by Katrin Bellinger. An Exceptional Drawing Week: A Journey Outside the Walls

Drawing Week, which takes place in parallel, is a real artistic journey outside the walls. This program allows visitors to discover new works in prestigious institutions such as the Louvre Museum, the Orsay Museum and the Mazarine Library. In partnership with around twenty museums, this initiative offers total immersion in the world of drawing, enriching the Salon experience.

Contemporary Drawing Prize: Three Talents to Watch

The 18th Contemporary Drawing Prize of the Daniel & Florence Guerlain Foundation, which will be awarded during the Salon, will highlight three contemporary artists: Alice Maher, Gideon Kiefer, and Ettore Tripodi. The winner, chosen from among these artists, will be announced on March 27, 2025, thus bringing international visibility to these talents.

A Unique Competition for Young Artists

The Drawing Salon also hosts a drawing competition for young people, in partnership with the magazine Little Leonard. This year’s theme, “Imagine new stained glass windows for Notre-Dame”, invites children aged 7 to 14 to participate and exhibit their works alongside the great masters of drawing.
