Something new in the process of planning the Marchica Lagoon in the Oriental region. The Agency Marchica Med SA has just launched several open calls for projects with a view to selecting candidate investors for the development of one or more plots of land within the subdivision of the city of Atalayoun. The calls for projects concern a set of 7 lots.
This is a lot for the development of a residential project called “The Port Residences” with an area of 28,165 m², another for the development of a residential project called “The City of Riads” on an area of 36,483 m² and a third to house a health and well-being clinic on an area of 6,605 m².
Launched by HM King Mohammed VIin 2008, and aiming to realize the Royal Vision for sustainable and coherent territorial development, the development project of the Marchica Lagoon is implementing a vast program to promote the potential and natural wealth of the Oriental region, in particular the city of Nador and its province.
-La Lagune, located in the province of nadorextends over a length of 25 km and a width of 7 km, offering a “unique” natural space. The Lagoon site covers a total area of approximately 19,000 hectares, including 7,700 hectares of land and 11,300 ha of aquatic surface. The development and enhancement program for this site includes the creation of seven thematic cities, as new territories for urbanization and new centers of activity, favorable to human development and respectful of ecosystems throughout the territory of the surroundings of the Lagoon.
In this context, the City of Atalayounwhose construction has been well underway by Marchica Med SA., a subsidiary of the Agency for the development of the Marchica Lagoon site, represents a large-scale tourist and residential complex, extending over 154 hectares and located on a peninsula in the heart of the Lagoon. This integrated project is distinguished by the diversity of its components, including residential, hotel, commercial infrastructure, a golf course and a marina.
