Lons-le-Saunier. A fresco to brighten up their building and “give a better image of the neighborhood”

A mural of some 80 m2this is what you can now observe as you pass the porch located between n° 38 and n° 42 of avenue Abbé Lemire. This colorful fresco was created by the young people of the Maison commune after responding to a call for projects launched by the Regional Directorate of Cultural Affairs (Drac). “As part of the improvement of our park, we have of course given our agreement to this project,” explained Éric Poli, director of the Maison pour tous, owner of the building. Today the result is there, young people have done great things, it enhances them, and also enhances our heritage. »

“We are proud of the result”

This project was led by members of the youth sector of the Common House. “Design, discovery of spray painting techniques, testing on models, then production, they created this work, alone, supervised by graffiti artist Yannick Rouieire, and this only in a few days. It’s their project, they are the ones who chose the theme, the design, the slogan, the message they wanted to convey, in particular the preservation of the planet,” explained Stéphane Vuillot, youth sector leader.

Mohamed and Dounia were among the graffiti artists: “We are proud of the result, it will give a better image of the neighborhood, which is often criticized. »
