MISCELLANEOUS FACTS. The driver of a truck had an accident on Thursday January 16, shortly after 2:30 p.m., near Leclerc Drive in Saint-Dizier.
The events occurred shortly after 2:30 p.m. on Thursday January 16 in Saint-Dizier. The driver of a truck from the Plastifer bragarde company is traveling on avenue Jean-Pierre-Timbaud, in the direction of Marnaval – city center.
At Leclerc Drive, the 35-year-old driver felt unwell and suddenly stopped on the shoulder, hitting an advertising panel. The thirty-year-old, slightly injured, was taken care of by the firefighters, under the leadership of Lieutenant Adeline Lannuzel, who directed the rescue operations.
The national police were present to carry out the usual reports, while the municipal police blocked the road in the opposite direction of the accident, near the access to Chêne Saint-Amand and avenue Jacques-Monod.
The Saint-Dizier heavy goods company arrived on site to free the truck from the shoulder.
