A great recognition for the establishment opening in 2023. This Tuesday, January 7, 2025, the TheFork site revealed its ranking of 100 best restaurants in France. We find an address located in Béthune, in Pas-de-Calais. We present it to you.
Maison Renard present in the top 100
After the success of the first edition, TheFork has decided to renew its ranking of the 100 best restaurants in France. It highlights “the tables that made the year 2024, from local restaurants to starred establishments and more confidential addresses”.
Even if the top 100 is dominated by numerous Parisian addresses, establishments located in medium-sized towns are also appearing there. This is particularly the case of the Fox House de Béthune, present in 65th place in the ranking.
The restaurant opened its doors in 2023 on Place de la République. The chef is none other than Sébastien Renard, former participant of the show Top Chef. The candidate for season 13 offers cuisine that “highlights local, regional products. I also want comfort on the plate, when we eat we must not be bored,” he told us in January 2023.
Sébastien Renard bought the former restaurant of Marc Meurin, with whom he worked a lot, at 15 place de la République. “I wanted to settle here because the city is in the middle of everything, it’s a central point of the region. Béthune is dynamic and we are lucky to be very well placed. »
