She writes as the Impressionists she describes painted: in small, fine touches, with a delicate brush, without priming, attentive to the detail which expresses the humility of the artist in the face of reality, to the small true fact which also indicates her desire to tackle the material, without ever forgetting that perspective and an overall vision are necessary to compose a painting. She also fits, which is not contradictory, in the vein of psychological biography, Stefan Zweig style, or even psycho-genealogical because she likes family sagas.
