It’s now official, Renaud is a married man. After a first marriage in the 80s with Dominique Quilichini, then a second in the 2000s with Romane Serda, the 71-year-old artist said “yes” to Cerise (her real first name Christine), during a beautiful ceremony which took place in Paris and Ile-de-France. If the singer and his wife wanted to keep this union as secret as possible, one of the guests made a mistake regarding the event. A few weeks ago, Dave, Renaud’s friend, revealed the wedding date live on the show Good morning !on TF1: “My birthday is Renaud’s wedding! May 4!”
And the Dutch singer was telling the truth since it was indeed on Saturday May 4 that the wedding took place in the presence of an audience of stars, including Hugues Aufray who was very moved for his friend. Dave was also there! He was therefore able to celebrate his birthday at the same time as the union of his great friend: “I have been in my eighties since the day of Renaud’s wedding, to which I was invited, because we are friends and neighbors in the South”tells the Dutch singer Parisianbefore saying more about the ceremony: “At the mayor, there were so many fans that I felt like I was attending the wedding of Johnny (Hallyday) and Sylvie (Vartan).”
Dave preferred the temple ceremony
The wedding took place in several stages. Bride and groom’s kiss, old-fashioned car, shower of bubbles, the party was wonderful for Renaud and Cerise, even if Dave had a very personal preference: “I preferred the ceremony in the small temple, boulevard Arago, it was pretty. It was the first time I went to the temple in France, while I went there every Sunday in the Netherlands with my Protestant brother.”says the interpreter of Vanina. Never shy of a little joke, the latter concludes with a little joke in reference to the health problems of his artist friend: “He’s strong, Renaud! With all the Ricard and cigarettes he’s had, he has perfect analyses. But I would really like him to improve vocally.” In the meantime, Renaud is the happiest of men with Cerise!
