At 52 years old, Adriana Karembeu is a free woman. It is not for nothing that the Slovak model and presenter chose this adjective for the title of her autobiography which she has just published by Leduc. Her violent father, the sexual assault she suffered from a producer or director, her late motherhood… Nina’s mother does not shy away from any subject. Not even those related to his love life.
Wedding in Corsica with Christian Karembeu
Adriana Karembeu has been married twice. First with the former footballer Christian Karembeu whom she married in Corsica in 1998, the year of France’s victory in the Football World Cup. A marriage which unfortunately ended in divorce in 2011. Of this union, the model who measures 1m85 keeps very good memories but also the name of her former husband.
Second marriage in Monaco to Aram Ohanian
In June 2014, Adriana Karembeu remarried in Monaco, to businessman of Armenian origin Aram Ohanian. From their union a little girl, Nina, was born in August 2018. A joy for the couple who went through a painful ordeal, that of miscarriage and the loss of a baby. But why did Adriana Karembeu and Aram Ohanian end their marriage, an announcement which was extremely surprising when it was announced by the model on her social networks in December 2022? Adriana Karembeu’s ex-husband couldn’t stand the pandemic period
As part of the marathon promotion of FreeAdriana Karembeu gives an interview to the magazine Ciné Télé Revue in which she explains what ended their marriage: “Covid has changed a lot of things in my relationship. My husband had a very bad experience because all our activity which revolved around tourism and catering has stopped”, she confides first. Nina’s parents together created the Palais Ronsard, a sublime establishment located in Marrakech where Adriana Karembeu still lives part of the year when she is not in Monaco or around the world: “But for me, I experienced it very well because I found myself only with my daughter. I wasn’t working, and I enjoyed it. My husband was the complete opposite.. It contributed to our perdition“, she continues.
Their divorce then appeared inevitable for Adriana Karembeu who still maintains good relationship with her ex-husband : “I think that a child changes a lot of things in a couple. And love is also tiring. We lived together for 12 years and remained on very good terms, we went on vacation together.“After this divorce, Adriana Karembeu remained single for a few months before crossing paths with a man whose name she does not want to reveal and with whom she fell in love…
