The former Miss France decided to speak out like many other female doctors and caregivers who have not hesitated to recount for several days the attacks to which they have been victims in their workplace on social networks. The doctor had already confided in Tele-Leisure about the difficult times she went through during her studies and her hospital internships. “I remember an internship where I went backwards because I knew that during the day, I was going to receive sexist remarks, I was going to be hit on… it was borderline sexual harassment. I I wasn’t the only one, it was the case for all women.”she told us in 2022.

I remember a particularly trying internship. It was a surgery internship, in which I was one of the only women. I was very young, I had already was elected Miss France and I was treated to dozens and dozens of dirty jokes, questions about my privacy, wandering hands and really inappropriate behavior.she confided to her subscribers.

After her testimony, Marine Ltemporel said she regretted “not having said anything, not knowing what to do”. “I was young and it’s true that people said that we had to accept these ‘normal’ behaviors attributed to former doctors of the older generation”she continued, and added: “And above all, you must not make waves at the hospital if you want your internship to be validated.” The doctor then called on her male and female colleagues to speak out about the inappropriate behavior they may have experienced at work.
