TF1’s House of Secrets is preparing to reopen its doors. It’s next Tuesday, April 23, at 11:30 p.m., that TF1 will kick off this new season of Secret Story presented by Christophe Beaugrand. The host also spoke about this highly anticipated launch in a long portrait published in the latest issue of Paris Match published this Thursday. “It is certain that at one point, I wanted to do more things. However, I am lucky not to have experienced crossing the desert. We had to wait for the right project: it was the return of Secret Story,” he said.

The host of TF1, who is also one of Bruce Toussaint’s columnists in the morning show Good morning !, took advantage of this interview to discuss his family life and in particular his relationship with Ghislain Gerin who became his husband in 2018. A man whose path he crossed in 2011 in circumstances that he kept secret until today. “It was long claimed that it was with mutual friends, but in reality, it was on an app. Ten years ago, it hadn’t yet become common practice, so it was more difficult to admit.”, explained Christophe Beaugrand, specifying that he had been disturbed, initially, by a specific detail. “He was 21, I was 33, so I asked myself questions. Christophe Beaugrand’s very strong ties with his son’s surrogate mother
Christophe Beaugrand also spoke openly about the arrival of his son, Valentin, born in 2019 via GPA (Surrogacy). A birth that the host and her husband also recounted in a book Daddy’s boy(s) published in 2021. To make their dream of having a child come true, the two journalists called on an agency in Nevada. And even today, they have very strong ties with Whitney, their surrogate mother. “We wanted to keep a connection. Last year she came to spend a week with us with her husband. She even went to the school fair. Valentin knows her and knows her story”underlined Christophe Beaugrand.
