More than 800 exhibitors are expected at the 7e edition of the International Exhibition of Agriculture and Animal Resources of Abidjan (SARA), scheduled from May 23 to 1is June 2025, at the Abidjan Exhibition Center.

During a press conference, this Thursday, January 9, 2025, the chief of staff of the Ministry of State, Ministry of Agriculture, Sustainable Development and Food Production, Mr. Nouhoun Coulibaly, presented the innovations of SARA 2025.

For this 7e edition, “ we plan to promote the terroirs. This is the major innovation. These are promotional activities of the regions allowing the exhibition of their agricultural and cultural potential. “, he said.

Furthermore, ” a competition from the different regions of Côte d’Ivoire will be organized to reward the stand that is best animated and presents the most attractiveness in terms of innovations and potential. “, he added.

Nouhoun Coulibaly also announced as an innovation the presentation of the value chain of certain agricultural speculations, ranging from production, processing to the marketing circuit, even export.

This meeting is intended to be a framework for meetings, exchanges and sharing of experiences between stakeholders in the agricultural world, underlined Mr. Nouhoun Coulibaly, indicating that participants will be able to go shopping and there will also be business meetings. (business meetings).

Specifically, the country’s ambition is to raise awareness of professional activities linked to agriculture, in particular crop production, livestock breeding, fishing, agri-food, agricultural finance and mechanization, he said. -he continued.

After the Kingdom of the Netherlands in 2023, China was chosen to be the country in the spotlight of the 7e edition of SARA. China is one of the leading countries in the processing of agricultural products in the world.

Mr. Coulibaly announced that the 7e edition should, according to the usual agenda, be held in the last quarter of 2025, but this period coinciding with the presidential elections, the government has brought forward the SARA 2025 to the last week of May 2025.

Over the years, SARA has established itself as a major event in Côte d’Ivoire, which brings together thousands of people and investors every two years. The 6e edition, held in 2023, mobilized nearly 30 countries. The official launch of the 7e edition is planned for February 2025.
