This high-level meeting aims to develop an initiative aimed at developing the contributions of productive families and transforming them into pioneering projects capable of promoting socio-economic progress in Arab countries. On this occasion, Mr. Rachidi highlighted the capital importance given by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the family, to the improvement of their conditions and the promotion of their economic, social and cultural rights, citing the projects of the revision of the Family Code and the Social State.
In addition, he reviewed several national programs, including “Jisr for Empowerment and Leadership”, which aims to facilitate women's access to the labor market and develop their entrepreneurial capabilities, as well as the support for income-generating projects for people with disabilities.
Mr. Rachidi also discussed the projects of the third phase of the National Initiative for Human Development, as well as other initiatives such as encouraging entrepreneurship among women through the “Tamayuz Prize for Moroccan women”, and the promotion of the care economy as an area of investment in the empowerment of families and women and the creation of employment opportunities.
This event, which took place in the presence of Arab ministers and representatives of international and UN organizations, emphasized the importance of developing the work of productive families and their vital role in achieving economic sustainability. , as well as the challenges these families face, such as training and facilitating access to markets. Mr. Rachidi took part in a reception offered, Tuesday in Manama, by HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and President of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in honor of the heads of delegations participating in the work of the 44th session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs from December 22 to 25.
