Threats and violence against the rebels

“The rotten atmosphere is when the Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau attacks Insoumis parliamentarians to accuse them of anti-Semitism”denounces the tribune in a video posted on his YouTube channel. The Minister of the Interior notably reported to the courts the remarks of the rebellious deputy Marie Mesmeur who had pointed out the character “racist” slogans chanted by Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters during a match in Amsterdam.

According to Jean-Luc Mélenchon, “anyone who opposes the genocidal policies of Benjamin Netanyahu is immediately accused of anti-Semitism”.
