32-year-old American woman arrested at home while cooking her mother’s dismembered body

A macabre discovery. A 32-year-old Kentucky woman was arrested by police on Wednesday (October 9) after a domestic worker found human remains in her mother’s backyard and called authorities to report the incident. this find, reports Associated Press.

After going to the site and observing the reported facts, the police quickly obtained a search warrant and sent the KSP, a special intervention team, to the site.

The woman inside the house, named Torilena May Fields, initially refused to come out, authorities said in a statement. The police decided to deploy tear gas inside the house and spoke with the 30-year-old using a robot, before she left the home later that evening, around 11 p.m. , after hours of negotiations.

According to local news channel WLWT, the young woman “appeared to have blood on her face, hands and clothing” when she left the house. She was arrested and remanded in custody the same evening and is expected to be incarcerated for obstruction of government operations, tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse. According to authorities, other charges could be brought against her.

“Organs removed”

According to the KSP, the arms, legs and head were removed from the bust and the torso and spine were “cut in half and the organs removed.” In addition to the limbs found in the garden, police said their officers also observed body parts in a folded mattress next to the body as well as in a pot that was inside the oven, along with parts of the bodies that “appeared to have been cooked”.

The man who called police said he saw Torilena Fields and her mother Trudy, who owned the home, together the day before the discovery. He told police that before leaving the house that night, Torilena appeared to be “casting spells and being aggressive,” and that she may have been using drugs. When he found the dismembered body, he immediately thought it was that of his mother Trudy Fields, which police confirmed a few hours later.
