Victory for Yoriichi Tsugikuni

All smiles after her victory in this competition, Salomé Philippe is enjoying it, especially since she started cosplaying only a year ago. : “I represent the character Yoriichi Tsugikuni in Demon Slayer,” says the 23-year-old girl, with flaming red eyes. He is a character that is particularly close to my heart. “Cosplay is a lot of prep work,” she emphasizes.

And good humor too, as evidenced by the atmosphere that reigned among the participants at the time of the verdict rendered by a jury made up of two exhibitors and two elected officials including the mayor of Trébeurden, Bénédicte Boiron.

Each competitor offered the spectators and the jury a very visual mini-show. (Le Télégramme/Claire Charpy)

Success for retrogaming

When it comes time to take stock, Karine Topart, culture assistant and organizer of this festival, welcomes the success of the new feature for 2025, the gaming space. “It worked really well. It was actually retrogaming on old consoles and there was a lot more to it. Our workshops were all full as well. »

In terms of attendance, it was “slower on Saturday”, but there was a good showing on Sunday when the exhibitors’ hall, at the sports hall, like the Sémaphore room, at the time of the cosplay competition, each recorded a good turnout.
