A 19-year-old British national has been arrested in Denmark on suspicion of setting fire to a building housing the Global Aktion organization in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen. According to authorities, this individual would be affiliated with an organized criminal gang and would also have been in possession of an undetonated grenade found in front of the building.
The targeted building belongs to Global Aktion, an activist organization known for its campaigns in favor of separatists. The suspect, whom media close to the Algerian regime presented as a supporter of Morocco, allegedly used flammable liquids. A closed preliminary hearing took place on Friday January 17, according to statements from the Copenhagen police.
