The minister also spoke with commanders and soldiers, expressing his high appreciation for their activities during the maneuver and for the protection of northern residents and communities.

He added firmly: “We will not allow Hezbollah operatives to return to the villages of southern Lebanon and reestablish a terrorist infrastructure that threatens Israel's northern border, and we will guarantee the IDF's ability to continue to fully impose the reality on the ground.”

This visit comes against a backdrop of persistent tensions along the Israeli-Lebanese border, despite the recently concluded ceasefire agreement. Israeli forces maintain a reinforced presence in the region to ensure compliance with the new security arrangements.
