Towards solutions for the diaspora:
This Tuesday, December 10, 2024, a meeting was held between JE Kathia Verdier the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad and Pierre René François Director General of the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ). During this exchange, possible solutions related to the problems of requesting a police certificate (criminal record) from our compatriots living abroad, registration at the border for recently deported Haitians and especially mechanisms aimed at ensuring the protection of the property of fellow citizens of the diaspora against any form of vandalism or usurpation.

Rehabilitation of the Maïs Gâté road:
The Ministry of Public Works has initiated an ambitious project aimed at improving access to Toussaint Louverture International Airport (AITL). This project includes the rehabilitation of the Maïs Gâté road over approximately 1.9 km, providing access to Boulevard Toussaint Louverture via Clercine 2. One section has already been finalized in hydraulic concrete, while the other section in bituminous concrete is currently in progress. Furthermore, a 650-meter drainage canal is nearing completion at Clercine 2, in order to prevent flooding and optimize traffic.

Traditional wish ceremony:
This Thursday, December 19, 2024, the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) organized the traditional end-of-year greeting ceremony and wished Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025 with the various authorities of the country.
