In this political reality show served to America, one nomination chases another, just as disruptive. Holed up in his palace in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, President-elect Donald Trump takes great pleasure in shocking his adversaries who are still stunned by the clear defeat of Kamala Harris on November 5. Invisible since his electoral victory, Donald Trump reappeared Thursday evening very satisfied with himself. In a bow tie for a gala at his Florida residence, he was surrounded by his future collaborators and other guests, such as actor Sylvester Stallone, who praised the advent of a “second George Washington” [le premier président des Etats-Unis, ndlr].

The last choice of the owner announced a few hours earlier was not the least controversial. Donald Trump has appointed Robert F. Kennedy Junior Minister of Health, a notorious anti-vaccine and conspiracy theorist who has doctors and scientists on edge. This former Democrat is the nephew of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, assassinated in 1963, and the son of Robert Kennedy, shot dead during the election campaign five years later. The heir to the legendary dynasty first tried to obtain the Democratic nomination against President Joe Biden. Alas, he then presented himself as an independent, before joining Donald Trump.
