Recently, a ranking of the cheapest ski resorts in Europe was published by Holidu, a platform specializing in vacation rentals.
The most affordable ski resorts in Europe
For budget-conscious travelers, Réallon, located in the Hautes-Alpes in France, is ranked as the most affordable ski resort in Europe, costing just 44.5 euros per day, including ski passes and accommodation.
The resort offers 30 kilometers of slopes, suitable for beginners and experienced skiers alike, offering the added bonus of magnificent views of Lake Serre-Ponçon.
In second place is Mount Parnassos in Greece, which offers a unique ski experience at an attractive price. Roubion-les-Buisses, also located in France, ranks third in terms of cost, offering a family atmosphere and packages starting from just 20 euros per day.
The best quality/price ratio
The perfect balance between quality and price is Le Grand Massif in the French Alps. With 260 kilometers of slopes and a cost of around 54 euros per day for passes and accommodation, it offers a large ski area at a very reasonable price.
Another interesting option is Sierra Nevada in Spain. Located in southern Spain near Granada, Sierra Nevada offers 107 kilometers of ski slopes and passes from just 47 euros per day in low season, with excellent value for money and a 10/10 rating on Google Maps for this criterion.
This ranking highlights a predominance of Alpine resorts, particularly in Austria, Switzerland and Italy. The analysis is based on average daily costs, including ski pass and accommodation per person, and takes into account variations between high and low seasons.

At the other end of the spectrum, Europe’s most expensive ski resorts are found primarily in the Alps, including Austria, Switzerland and Italy. At the top of the ranking is Obergurgl-Hochgurgl in Austria, with an average cost of 284 euros per day, including accommodation.
