The two septuagenarians moved to the Valencia region around ten years ago to “live in the sun” as they had always dreamed of.
And couple of Britons living in Spain died in historic floods which hit the region Valence. The daughter of both retired confirmed the information to the BBC.

Friends went to the couple's home but found only the family dogs there. The two victims were found ensuite inside their car who had obviously been washed away by the watersspecifies Guardian. On the day of the floods, the retirees reportedly informed friends thatthey quickly went out to refuel.
“We still don't know exactly what happened to thementrusted their daughter to the BBC. The only thing that keeps us going is that they were together. But no one wants to see their parents die like that.”
L’Spain currently records more than 200 deaths following the floods but the toll could still get worse, with relief efforts only just beginning to clear certain flooded areas.
