After a night of negotiations, the Cali summit on biodiversity was adjourned this Saturday, November 2. It leads to a great victory for the indigenous peoples, but leaves a bitter taste of unfinished business for Western nations. The thorny question of financing was postponed until later.

The text provides them with a organe permanent dedicated, that is to say equal representation in international negotiations on nature.
