A series of shattering interviews. Donald Trump’s former White House chief of staff, John Kelly, said Tuesday, October 22, New York Times that he thought Donald Trump “met the definition of a fascist”. The latter, who worked as chief of staff to the former Republican president, also estimated that Donald Trump “clearly prefers the government’s dictatorial approach.”

He also told The Atlantic that the former president wanted “the kind of generals Hitler had” – a remark that Donald Trump’s campaign team disputes. “The guardrails are gone. Mr. Trump is descending into madness”reacted Tim Walz, the running mate of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, who served in the national guard.

Recent opinion surveys seem to give a slight advantage to Donald Trump, who is leading his third consecutive presidential campaign at age 78, ahead of the November 5 presidential election. But this advance is systematically within the margin of error.
