The facts date back to the Easter holidays in Belgium but are only now known. A 14-year-old girl was the victim of a gang rape involving a “ten” young people, reports the Belgian media 7sur7 .
According to the West Flanders public prosecutor’s office, the case described as “delicate” only implies “minor suspects”.
Lured into a grove by her boyfriend
The facts date back between 1er and April 14. According to Belgian media HLN And 7sur7, the victim was allegedly lured into a grove in the town of Kortrijk by her boyfriend. It was in this secluded corner that the teenager was allegedly raped by several boys, the respective implications of which remain to be determined.
According to several sources, the events took place over several days without knowing whether the victim was held captive.
Suspects brought before a juvenile judge
Concerning the age of the suspects, the media HLN indicates that the youngest could be only eleven years old. His role in the gang rape, however, has not been clearly expressed.
“They (the suspects) were arrested and presented to a youth judge, who took the necessary measures. Several suspects have been placed in a community institution and the investigation is ongoing”further revealed the prosecution.
The victim, for her part, was taken care of and is receiving psychological assistance.
