United States: the brain of presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr partly “eaten” by a worm

Short and long-term memory loss, cognitive problems… White House candidate Robert Kennedy Jr, son of former Justice Minister and presidential candidate Robert “Bobby” Kennedy, was the victim of a worm in the brain. This is what the New York Times, in a survey published Wednesday May 8, in the middle of the presidential campaign. The nephew of John Fitzgerald Kennedy, assassinated in 1968, is running as an independent candidate.

These revelations from the American daily are based, among other things, on a document relating to his divorce. In this deposition, consulted by the media, Robert Kennedy Jr indicates that doctors diagnosed that a “worm had entered his brain, had eaten part of it and died” in 2010. In the same deposition, he mentions “obvious cognitive problems”as well as “long-term and short-term memory loss”. According to Stefanie Spear, spokesperson for the candidate interviewed by AFP, “a parasite” was contracted during a trip “in Africa, South America or Asia”.

Known for his conspiracy theories

“The problem was resolved more than ten years ago and today he is in very good physical and mental health”she said, before adding: “It is laughable to doubt Mr. Kennedy’s state of health when we see who he is facing”. His presidential opponents, Joe Biden and Donald Trump, are 81 and 77 years old respectively. Proof according to him of his relative youth: this winter, he skied in Wyoming with Travis Rice, one of the best snowboarders in the world. However, the worm in his brain would not be the only health problem to have affected Robert Kennedy Jr in recent years. According to New York Timeshe reportedly suffered from atrial fibrillation, a cardiac risk abnormality, and mercury poisoning.
