If you have an impediment coinciding with the date of your flight or you simply wish to postpone your trip to a later date, changing your reservation can be tedious, or sometimes impossible.
Air Algérie announces that it has set up a new online service allowing its travelers to easily change the dates of their trips, in just a few clicks.
Air Algérie launches a paid online service for changing flight dates
“ Air Algérie offers you the possibility of modifying the date of your ticket purchased online via our website or our mobile application », Indicates the company in a press release.
Travelers can actually change their plane ticket without having to go to an agency. The process is now done directly on the site or via the Air Algérie mobile application, “ depending on the availability of the desired flights “.
As part of this new service, the national airline has set up a platform specially dedicated to changing travel dates. Once on the interface, the traveler must “ enter your name and reservation number » in the required fields.
Reservation modification: steps and pricing conditions
After validation, the page “ Reservation – Details » is displayed. Here, you must choose the “ manage the reservation “, Then ” modify flights “. The traveler can therefore change their flight date depending on the availability which will be displayed on this page.
Regarding the conditions, Air Algérie specifies that online flight date changes only concern “ tickets purchased online on the Air Algérie website or the Mobile application “.
Changing travel dates online can be done up to 24 hours after the flight date “. Beyond this period, “ the change is only possible in an Air Algérie agency or via our call center “, further specifies the company.
Additionally, tickets issued online with multiple destinations are not eligible for this service. Furthermore, changes to travel dates on the same itinerary, in the same fare or by upgrading to a higher fare are only possible.
Please note that the service is payable in the same currency used when paying for unused tickets. For partially used tickets, the change of travel date is made in the currency of the country of departure. The company did not specify the rates that apply to the changes.
