A large-scale operation was carried out by the gendarmerie of Haute-Savoie, in neighboring France. On April 29, around a hundred soldiers, supported by other services, arrested twelve individuals, suspected of participating in drug trafficking, running throughout the Arve valley. At the end of their custody, nine were indicted, six of whom were placed in pre-trial detention, report several French media.

This dragnet made it possible to get their hands on large quantities of money, drugs and weapons. In total, 21 kilos of cannabis, more than 600 canisters of laughing gas, 540 bottles and more than 400 cartons of cigarettes were seized. The police also discovered three weapons, 120 rounds of ammunition and nearly 200,000 euros in criminal assets, almost half of which was in cash and the rest in vehicles. This take is the result of six months of work. Last October, a seizure alerted the Scionzier gendarmes. In mid-April, a first operation led to the dismantling of five deal points. Four people were placed in pre-trial detention.
