New hedges will be planted in this area of ​​Calvados: a call for volunteers

As part of its program of hedge plantingthe community of communes of Pré-Bocage Intercomin Calvados, invites the inhabitants of the territory to a plantation participativeto “act in favor of the environment while sharing a friendly moment”.

Thus, for the third year in a row, a planting day, on a volunteer basis, is organized. It will take place on Saturday February 1, 2025 at Seulline, at 3, route du Monde Ancien.

This event aims to raise awareness among participants of multiple benefits of hedgerowswhile inviting them to contribute concretely to this project.

The program for the hedge planting day

Volunteers will be welcomed from 9 a.m.before a distribution of tools and an explanation of planting techniques. This will be followed by the planting of hedges themselves, as well as a awareness time on the importance of the bocage for the territory.

Remember to bring boots, gloves, a spade or rake and dress warmly. A picnic is to be provided for those who wish to extend their participation with a meal.
