a white envelope that does not lack character

The continued expansion of the pharmaceutical company Merck in Molsheim (Bas-Rhin) continued last year with the delivery, at the end of autumn, of a new building of 18,700 m2. These additional surfaces, labeled Breeam very good level, are characterized by a succession of ISO 7 type “clean” rooms, a classification which designates a controlled atmospheric environment. In addition to the regulations to which these spaces are subject, the general contractor Bouygues Bâtiment -Est and the project management teams (Kardham and OTE Ingénierie up to the detailed preliminary project, then the DRLW agency associated with Egis Bâtiments ) had to respect numerous quality control and logistics flow management constraints. The investment of €59.5 million excluding tax includes a tertiary center and a company restaurant, all taking place in a white envelope covered with 2,400 m2 of photovoltaic panels.
