During this meeting, a focus was placed on district heating prices.

“Several price comparisons show that district heating is very competitive compared to other heating methods (see Amorce), underlines the Cergypontaine agglomeration. Users benefit from a VAT rate reduced to 5.5% on their heating bill thanks to the environmental performance of the network. Furthermore, its price is stable over time since it is little linked to fluctuations in the prices of fossil fuels thanks to the share of renewable energies in the contractual energy mix, serving as a basis for invoicing. In addition, maintenance costs for the public part of the network as well as an emergency intervention service available 24/7 are provided by the delegatee. »
